Are travel and accommodation costs included when I book a course?
No.
Travel and accommodation expenses are not included when you book a course or examination.
Are there any subsidies or funding options that we can offer or invoice directly?
No.
Currently, we do not provide any direct subsidies or funding options that can be applied or invoiced through us.
How can I cancel my course or examination booking?
If you would like to cancel your course or examination booking, please contact our Sales team here with your request. The applicable cancellation conditions are outlined in the GTA (General Terms and Agreements).
Do you offer online courses and examinations?
No.
We do not currently offer online courses and examinations.
Is it possible to receive a course schedule for the entire year?
Yes.

Will I receive a certificate after completing the course and the examination?
Yes.
Upon successful completion of the course and the examination, we issue a certificate in accordance with the requirements of the EASA regulations as outlined in Annex IV (Part‑147).
I need a visa to enter the country. Do I automatically receive it with the booking confirmation?
No.
The visa application must be arranged by the participant independently.
However, we can provide a confirmation of course participation or an official invitation letter to support your visa application.
Is it possible to have modules from my school education, university degree, or technical college credited toward my technician training?
Credit transfers for previous education cannot be issued by us as a Technical Training department. Only the Austro Control authority is authorized to grant credits.
To request a credit evaluation, you must contact Austro Control directly. They will review your individual educational background and, if applicable, issue a credit report for the subjects that may be recognized. The final decision lies entirely with Austro Control.

I already hold a B1 AML and would like to obtain B2. Which basic examinations do I need to complete?
To upgrade from B1 to B2, you are required to pass the following B2 basic modules:
- Module 4 – Electronic Fundamentals
- Module 5 – Digital Techniques / Electronic Instrument Systems
- Module 13 – Aircraft Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems (B2)
- Module 14 – Propulsion (B2)
I am completing a CAT A training program and would like to book a B1 basic examination. Will this exam be credited toward my CAT A training?
Any potential crediting of B1 modules toward a CAT A training program is defined by the EASA Regulation Annex III (Part-66). A detailed overview of which modules can be credited can be found in the EASA Easy Access Rules for Part-66.
We recommend consulting the official document to review the exact crediting rules applicable to your individual case.

Your trainer will meet you at checkpoint West and accompany you into the Austrian Airlines Technik area, where your training will take place.
Safety boots with steel caps are recommended to keep you well protected.
Please bring your own work clothes so you feel comfortable throughout the training.
A safety vest is required — don’t forget to pack yours.

Examination
Basic Examination Standard
- The pass mark for each Part-66 module and sub-module multichoice part of the examination is 75 %.
- At best the student can reach 60 points for the technical element and 40 points for the Report Style element in an essay question. From this it follows that the student can reach 100 points for the whole essay.
Examination Duration
Basic module examinations consist of multiple-choice questions. Depending on the module and the number of questions, they take between 20 and 235 minutes to complete.

Reexamination
An examination in a module may not be retaken earlier than 90 days following the date of a failed examination in that module, except in the case of a maintenance training organisation approved in accordance with Annex IV (Part-147) which delivers a course of retraining tailored to the failed subjects in the particular module; the failed module may be retaken after 30 days.
The maximum number of attempts for each examination is three in a 12-month period.
The applicant shall provide in a written statement to the approved maintenance training organisation or the competent authority to which they apply for an examination, the number, and dates of attempts during the 12 months preceding the examination, and the organisation or the competent authority where those attempts took place.

FAST RAILWAY (Schnellbahn): From various stations (Praterstern, Landstraße/Wien
Mitte, Rennweg …) the fast railway train “S7” takes you to Vienna Airport in about 25
minutes. More information under Schnellbahnen.
Vienna Airport Bus: The Vienna Airport Bus takes you safely and comfortably from the
main transport hubs to the airport in approx. 20 – 45 minutes. Upon your arrival, please
leave the arrival hall of the Vienna Airport cross the street and take the “Airport Shuttle
Bus” Routes & timetables – Vienna Airport Bus
Car & Parking
The most convenient way of reaching us by car is to take the A4 Vienna Airport Motorway. The Austrian Aviation Campus is located at the Austrian Airlines Airport Base, right next to the B9 federal road (GPS coordinates: 48.12773,16.54380).
Here is a short set of driving directions:
- Freeway A4 direction airport
- Exit Vienna Airport Schwechat: exit 13a, marked “Flughafen” (airport)
- Take the first exit on the right, which lead you to the federal road B9 (towards the town of Schwechat and the city of Vienna)
- After passing the traffic lights and the “Cargo Nord” take the first left turn. Exit “Austrian Aviation Campus” (green sign)
- The Training Center (blue building, object 975) and the associated parking spaces are located on the right-hand side.
- Please go to the porter and exchange a valid ID card for your temporary ID card during the training and inform the porter
- Access to the Austrian Aviation Campus via the turnstile (with your visitor badge)
