The Austrian Training Center is a state-of-the-art training facility located at the Vienna Aviation Campus, directly at Vienna International Airport. Information screens in the foyer provide an overview of all ongoing training sessions, including assigned rooms, floors, and schedules. The technical training screen is located on the right-hand side, and most technical classroom-based courses are conducted on the 3rd level. Secure and convenient lockers for personal belongings are available near the canteen on the ground floor.

Basic Modules and knowledge-based training take place in modern, fully equipped classrooms featuring high-quality equipment as well as dedicated Maintenance Training Devices (MTDs).

Practical elements training is conducted directly on the aircraft and includes parts location exercises, troubleshooting scenarios, and minimum equipment list (MEL) procedures. All practical courses are delivered by highly experienced, certified specialists who are also actively working as aircraft technicians, ensuring maximum practical relevance and up-to-date know-how.

Visitor badge for our guests

Please sign in at the porter’s desk when you arrive. You’ll receive your visitor badge after leaving your official ID card as a deposit. At the end of each training day, simply stop by the porter’s desk again to return your visitor badge and collect your ID card. The same procedure must be followed every day of your training.

Location / Directions

For the Vienna-Airport connection, the following options are available for you. You can choose the most suitable:

  • Public Transportation

    City Airport Train: In 16 minutes non-stop from Wien Mitte/Landstraße to the airport.
    Timetable: City Airport Train

    FAST RAILWAY (Schnellbahn): From various stations (Praterstern, Landstraße/Wien
    Mitte, Rennweg …) the fast railway train “S7” takes you to Vienna Airport in about 25
    minutes. More information under Schnellbahnen.

    Vienna Airport Bus: The Vienna Airport Bus takes you safely and comfortably from the
    main transport hubs to the airport in approx. 20 – 45 minutes. Upon your arrival, please
    leave the arrival hall of the Vienna Airport cross the street and take the “Airport Shuttle

  • Car & Parking

    The most convenient way of reaching us by car is to take the A4 Vienna Airport Motorway. The Austrian Aviation Campus is located at the Austrian Airlines Airport Base, right next to the B9 federal road (GPS coordinates: 48.12773,16.54380).

    Here is a short set of driving directions:

    • Freeway A4 direction airport
    • Exit Vienna Airport Schwechat: exit 13a, marked “Flughafen” (airport)
    • Take the first exit on the right, which lead you to the federal road B9 (towards the town of Schwechat and the city of Vienna)
    • After passing the traffic lights and the “Cargo Nord” take the first left turn. Exit “Austrian Aviation Campus” (green sign)
    • The Training Center (blue building, object 975) and the associated parking spaces are located on the right-hand side.
    • Please go to the porter and exchange a valid ID card for your temporary ID card during the training and inform the porter
    • Access to the Austrian Aviation Campus via the turnstile (with your visitor badge)
