This initial training is designed to support experienced aviation professionals in developing the core competencies required to become confident and effective trainers. Course Description

This three-day initial training provides a practical introduction to instructional techniques for technical trainers in aviation. It focuses on didactics, training methodology, communication, and the evolving role of the instructor within Part-145 / Part-147 environments.

Through interactive exercises, micro-teaching sessions, and structured peer feedback, participants actively apply instructional concepts and reflect on their effectiveness. The training promotes a learner-centered, structured, and engaging approach to technical training while building on participants’ existing professional experience.

Target Group

  • Experienced aircraft maintenance technicians
  • Instructors and trainers within Part-145 / Part-147 organizations
  • Personnel preparing to take on a training or coaching role

Prerequisites

  • Basic interest in aviation maintenance or training activities
  • No prior instructional or teaching experience required
  • No previous Train the Trainer (TTT) qualification required
  • Suitable for participants with little or no experience in delivering training
