Course Description

Learning Objectives
- Understand and apply the requirements for a safe engine run.
- Identify the applicable safety regulations and hazard zones.
- Apply the checklists and work instructions correctly.
- Start, monitor and shut down the engine in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Interpret key engine parameters (e.g. RPM, temperature, oil pressure and fuel flow).
- Recognize irregularities or malfunctions and respond appropriately
